Greetings! We had our February Chapter meeting of CSINext. We had a few technical difficulties with the slide presentation. Our presenter Robert Popp was kind enough to provide a PDF of the slides.
If you attended the presentation CLICK HERE to download the PDF.
Before the meeting started we had a few Chapter Business items to discuss. First item is we are still looking for one more director fill out our FY2013-14 board. If you are a CSINext chapter member and interesting in rolling up your sleeves and helping, please contact Daniel Hargreaves via phone or email.
We also announced the launch of the new CSINext Chapter website. The interface has been completely redone to simplify navigation. A new front page with a space for a user gallery, if you have an image you would like to include, please email it to Daniel Hargreaves. Lastly is the CSINext ‘Wall’ this new feature allows CSINext members to have a social connection within the chapter website. It does not rely on Facebook, Twitter or Linkin. We are hoping this bit of technology enhances the CSINext member experience… of course it does take all of us to get it moving.
Once again, I would like to thank our speaker: Robert Popp, CSI, CCPR is the Senior Architectural Representative for D7S. He is a published author and a graduate of Texas A & M School of Architecture with his expertise being in Environmental Design. He has been the speaker at over 160 AIA Learning Unit programs. Some of his areas of expertise are; air barriers, wall design and water repellent technologies. We will be holding our next chapter meeting on March 21, 2013. The presentation will be Digital Art, it’s not another BIM program, presented by Daniel Hargreaves. Be sure to mark your calendars.
