In the last article, "Absolute nonsense", I wrote about the great number of words available to express fine distinctions of meaning, and how, properly used, they can be quite precise. In daily use, however, words often are used incorrectly, and most would agree that many disagreements are based on different interpretations of what we say.
Alexandria, Va. (June 17, 2013) – CSI announced today that the organization will elevate five members to Fellows of the Institute during the Honors and Awards Gala at CONSTRUCT 2013 & The CSI Annual Convention in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, September 27.
I need your help... How many times have we heard that? 2012-13 has turned out to be a very good year for CSINext. But it is one of those things that no one person can do it alone. I'm still looking to work in the background. With another year behind me I have mentally made the commitment to keep CSINext on track and make this next year better than last. The year is winding down and CSINext is gearing up. This fiscal year has proven to be very successful. We are still looking for a few volunteers to join us on the board. We have two chapter meetings left, the first one is at the end of month. And then the last meeting of the FY year will be in May.

Greetings! We had our February Chapter meeting of CSINext. We had a few technical difficulties with the slide presentation. Our presenter Robert Popp was kind enough to provide a PDF of the slides.
What you talkin’ about Willis? Just a little throw back from the 70’s… CSINext has implemented Private Messaging (PM) and Article Comments. Each of these will help to expand the Virtual Chapter experience. One of the key strengths to CSI is communication and the member network. CSINext strives to do this in a virtual way. Just like any good Social Network.

We had our first CSINext Chapter Board meeting of the year. We are excited to get the chapter back on track. We have Chapter Programs scheduled for September and October. August is in the works and then we will take time off for the holidays and jump back on track in January. Very soon you should be receiving an invite to register for the chapter programs.
