This presentation will outline the basic requirements for a successful commissioning project. We will discuss the IECC requirements as well as the ASHRAE guidelines for commissioning services. We will discuss what qualifications to look for in your commissioning agent. What type of experience do they have? Are they the commissioning firm best suited for your project? We will discuss the "nuts and bolts" of commissioning and talk about each phase from design, through construction, and finally, to building turnover and Owner occupancy.

About the Speaker:
Mark is a Commissioning Account Executive with Heapy Engineering. He is a U.S. Navy veteran with over 30 years of experience in building construction, operation and maintenance, and commissioning. Mark previously served as the Commissioning Department Manager for one of the largest regional Commissioning firms where he managed the commissioning of over 100 LEED certified projects. His team commissioned a variety of facility systems for a wide variety of clients, including various federal government agencies, K12, and Higher Education markets. Mark was part of the Global Business Services Team with the Procter and Gamble Company for eight years, is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with the U.S. Green Buildings Council (USGBC) and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Mark currently resides in Loveland, Ohio, where he has lived for over 20 years.
