Speaker: Mike Young, FCSI, CCCA with City and County of Denver
The goal of a project is the facility. This sounds basic, but all too often, the team leaves the Owner feeling like the only member interested in delivering a facility is the Owner. This presentation utilizes examples from projects that Mike Young, FCSI, CCCA has worked on as the Owner’s representative/Project Manager for the City of Thornton and the City and County of Denver in Colorado.
The intent of this presentation is to remind participants of the roles and responsibilities of each project team member (Owner, Designer, Contractor, and Supplier) and why it is important to the success of a project that those roles and responsibilities are respected. Through examples, this presentation will shed light on the need for each project team member to focus on the goal and to play well in the sandbox without turning it into a litterbox.
